Hey Y'all!
My name is Emily Rae Tuttle. I am originally from Houma, Louisiana (about 40 minutes south of New Orleans), but I am currently in Natchitoches, Louisiana where I attend Northwestern State University. I am a junior Musical Theatre major here and I spend about 95% of my time singing, acting, and dancing. Performing is what I love to do; it's what I believe I was born to do.
Music, in general, is a huge part of my life. I enjoy ALL types of music and am always interested in hearing something new. I believe music has the power to heal... I pray God will allow me to use my love for music and performing to minister to those in Nicaragua. Other things I thoroughly enjoy are: laughter, family, friends, my hammock, my cell phone, food, and spontaneity.
At this point in my life, I am trying to exude positivity and look on the bright side. But some things that make it hard for me to be positive are: messes (I'm a neat-freak), stereotyping, and lying.
This my first mission trip and I am bubbling over with excitement for what our Savior has in store for me, and for us as a team! I know our possibilities are endless and God will open our eyes to a whole new world. I look forward to meeting all of you - God Bless!
